UIUC researchers offer a nitrogen rate calculator tool for Illinois corn growers. The classic MRTN tool provides the Maximum Return To Nitrogen rate (MRTN) and the Most Profitable N Rate, based on recent N rate research data funded previously by the Illinois Nutrient Research & Education Council. The tool supports the input of single crop prices or multiple crop prices for flexibility.
